DO NOW
Hermann Ebbinghaus was a psychologist who pioneered the study of memory. In 1885 he conducted an experiment on himself which highlighted the need to repeat the learning and practice new skills in order to embed them in to memory.
At NESSSS, we use DO NOW activities at the beginning of every lesson to help students remember things they have learned. You will see these at the beginning of every lesson and they have been carefully designed by teachers to make sure the students remember key skills that will help them as they move towards their qualifications.
