Duke of Edinburgh is an integral part of the curriculum at NESSSS.  Students undertake a range of different tasks which includes improving their physical skills, volunteering and of course, the final expedition!  As part of the volunteering work, students at NESSSS have helped to organise charity events at NESSSS (including a MacMillan Coffee Morning and the much anticipate Christmas Fayre) sort and serve food at a local food bank and tidy up, clean and re-paint local government buildings.
